A graduate of Winston-Salem State University, Dr. Davis earned a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling. She furthered her theological and ministerial training at Apex School of Theology, earning both a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry in Biblical Studies.

In 2010, Dr. Davis founded K*METAMORPHOSIS, a counseling and professional development firm, to address critical gaps in treatment and training. Through this work, she equips individuals with the tools, resources, and guidance necessary to turn dreams into reality, living out her philosophy of the butterfly effect—small changes creating big impact.
In 2016, she published It’s ONLY a Test: Mastering the Addiction Counselors Exam, a practical, hands-on study guide filled with exercises, worksheets, and assignments designed for participatory learners.
Dr. Davis also facilitates exam prep courses, empowering participants to master the key concepts and confidently pass the Addiction Counselors Exam.
